Ron & I met in a math class at McMurry University. Our first date was to the play the Crucible (he needed to see it for an English credit, or so he says!) Second date was the Dixie Pig (a total greasy spoon - but the fact that he held my hand to pray over our food was my first clue that Ron Lessner wasn't just another date... he's the real deal!) and by the third date we knew this was the beginning of an epic adventure! We were married in Clayton, New Mexico in 1994 (35 days after my baby sister & brother-in-love tied the knot - YES, my parents should be sainted!) We are the parents of two amazing little girls, who keep us honest, humble and on our knees! They both danced their way into our lives - and this is the story of our attempts to guide their dancing feet, direct their seeking hearts and listen daily for the sounds of their laughter... more or less!
